Reflecting the colourful package, Bata! is based off of the mythological Filipino bird called the Sarimanok that brings good luck.What makes the Sarimanok interesting is how it is multicoloured, and how it originated from the seven heavens of the Philippines. For this reason, we packed only seven coloured crayons to represent these seven heavens.

This deliverable completed for the Tabraille project was extremely important to the development process as this was my chance to bring my visualization of the product to life. From my design, I wanted the product to use a long board with six holes as the base for numbered/Braille tiles to fit in and read as a guitar tab. The tiles would feature a large textured surface in the shape of a number–this texture represents the string name, (for the student that is blind) and the number represents the fret. (for the sighted teacher) The tile also has braille in the bottom corner indicating the fret number to the student that is blind, and also has the string letter (E,A,D,G,B,e) in the other corner for the teacher to read. The product was developed to be useful to both the teacher and the student at the same time. A total of 138 individual tiles were created, as there are 23 fret multiplied by 6 string combinations. This model was widely used throughout the other deliverables as supportive imagery.
Tabraille - Design Thesis
The main purpose of the app is to allow people to book, and plan a trip to the laundromat remotely. Users would use the app to book a machine or know when it is available and be notified when their laundry is finished or close to being finished.

Broadway Play is a digital Broadway experience where users may watch Broadway shows live, from the comfort of their own home. Users can watch live performances of Broadway's hottest shows with their friends and experience the magic of live theatre is a safe and engaging way.

The box that contains the chocolate bars looks like a pyramid because of the influence that the Mayan architecture has on the Ixcocoa brand. Additionally, its aesthetic is completely white with all the visuals and necessary information engraved on the box. The engraving is a reference to the archaeological details and intricate carving found in Mayan sculptures from their time.

The dispenser works by stroking a strip at the top of the box, letting the child emulate a “petting” motion. This playful interaction further distracts the user's injury they sustained. When the bandage comes out of the mouth, a sticker appears with a playful graphic; it also distracts and rewards the user, similar to being given a piece of candy after a dentist appointment to comfort the patient.

This project was completed during an internship with Davis Agency under Glenn Davis Group as part of the RGD Mentorship Program. "Swift is a Canadian value brand of processed meat products owned by Maple Leaf Foods." Their objective is to "become the most trusted brand of processed meats that price savy consumers can feel good about when looking for a quick-and-easy meal solution." The purpose of this project is to re-design Swift to compete in the current market.

When looking at a hairbrush, its shape lends itself to many ideas: a wand, a microphone, or maybe an animal. Brush Buds turns a simple hairbrush into Penelope the Porcupine, transforming her from just a tool, into a character and toy for children.

Elyssa is a designer who strives to keep learning new skills. While she is most versed in print and corporate identity design, she has recently found a love for animation and UX/UI. In her free time, you can find her watching Twitch streams of her favourite games or cooking amazing gluten-free food.

Rachelle is an information designer who is particularly interested in the relationship between subjective experience and quantitative data. She has used information design to better understand her own life through activity tracking and other projects. She spends a nontrivial amount of her time making spreadsheets.

Luisa is a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for product design and illustration. She loves plants, fancy beer, biking, set design and movies that cause her existential crises. When she's not designing, you can find her making weird clay sculptures for her friends and baking a ridiculous amount of bread.
